"Busted" is a 2D roguelike dungeon crawler built around blackjack. You'll explore a deep dungeon, clear rooms, and try to survive as you go deeper each run. Pick up new abilities, discover shops with rule-breaking effects, and adapt as the game throws new twists at you. More content is planned before release.

Features:

• Dungeon progression with 362,880 unique run combinations.
• Blackjack-based combat with custom cards (e.g. negative cards with decrease values and hidden cards with unknown values)
• Abilities that effect gameplay and outcomes of different rounds.
• Shops that can bend or completely change the rules of the next dungeon.
• Clean and polished animations on all game elements.

Types of Abilities:

• Frozen Strike - Prevents the dealer from drawing cards this round.
• Dealer Strike - Replaces the dealers hand with negative cards.
• The Jewish Joker - Sets your hand value exactly to 21.

Types of Shop effects:

• Vital Surge - Gain 5 extra lives for the remainder of this run.
• Arcane Vision - Improves the strength of your starting hand by 35%.
• Safe Descent - Reduces the dealers opening hand power by 35%.
• Dungeon Collapse - Reduces wins needed to clear this dungeon to 3.
• Blessed Key - Reduces the chances of negative encounters by 50%.
• Frozen Fate - Dealer is 25% more likely to stand early.

Release info:

The game is planned to release fully in the first quarter of 2026 (sometime in March after Steam Next Fest). Feel free to play the demo and leave some genuine feedback by clicking the download button.
